**So Kanon’s back. Ah, great show. Carlo will nag at me if I try something “insane” about the subject, so I’ll refrain from doing so**
He’d better. Ayu is like my favorite character from all anime I’ve watched (Yes Will, more than Asuka & Rei from EVA).
Here’s a public apology about the delay of the comics (And MvsM, as there are new ones I haven’t uploaded yet).
There are three major factors stopping me from keeping on the schedule:
1) I’ve been waiting months for the Kanon re-make. And with the recent release of Kanon 2006 episode 1 (Ep 2 will be out somewhere this week), I’ve gone back into Key-fanboy-mode. So I’m very hyperactive on IRC/MSN whenever a new episode is released.
2) I’m lazy, thanks to school draining all the back-up energy of my body
3) Awaiting the Ayu-Plushie I ordered.
That’s right, the comic’s being delayed thanks to a plushie. But it’ll be (hopefully) in this weekend, so the comic will probably be back around Monday. So yes, I’m sorry.
Looking for my story-log, I’m considering speeding up the Shiverpeaks. Like how it went with the Great Northern Wall (aka: very short). But Rurik’s moment will be there. Trust me.
Back to Kanon, I liked how they threw in a small hint towards AIR (See the truck riding by with an ad of Misuzu’s favorite sticky drink). I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the scene where Yuuichi commented about the wings on Ayu’s backpack. I even use an animated GIF as avatar on several forums of it. ^^ A lot of things are new, for example: you didn’t see the other girls (Aside from Ayu & Nayuki) in the original Kanon’s first episode, and now you do (in the remake).
The intro alone tells a lot about the story (God, I love how they used the game-music this time, too bad they it cut off too quickly), but the remake is mostly for us Kanon fans. As we’ve been nagging for it since AIR. Don’t like it very much that they used the same voice actor of Kyon (Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) as Yuuchi, as he’s more sarcastic then erm.. nervous now.
