An Avenger’s Alice Battle Around the Campfire

And that title is what you get when mixing three different things..
First things first, two new Requiem comics are up. 86 and 87. More after the weekend I’d guess. Will Tsuki’s premonition come true!?
SOUL BROTHERS!
*ahum*
So I watched Avenger this week, all eps of it, and I don’t know.. I got mixed feelings after watching it. I had to google around to understand what actually just happened (Figure, not a single site explained it). Though all did say “mixed feelings” as well.
It’s one of those anime’s that tear up your mind so you’re left off wondering: Now what?
It’s kinda Claymore-ish (Or the other way around. This is from 2003, kids) with a doll/kid and a woman travelling the wastelands of friggin’ MARS. Oh, also a comic relief dollmaker stalking them. Either way, the main character, Layla, can be more emotionless than Rei Ayanami. Heck, she only says like 4 words every episode! It’s rare for more to come out. Either way, she only wants to kill the current ruler of Mars.
The last episode just leaves you with a blank stare. Just watch the series and you’ll understand. If someone here has seen the series and actually GETS it please tell me. It’s weird, since I understand Evangelion and Elfen Lied perfectly :S

Okay, I’m not very keen on Live-Action adaptions of Anime. Though I am looking forward to Evangelion, because.. An EVA-fan is actually directing it. I have faith he won’t butcher it up. And WETA-Workshop is doing the effects. Should be promising.
Death Note was okay but.. Why wasn’t Misa blond? Don’t get me started on Negima where they have all the colors of the rainbow in the anime but black/brown in the LA-movie.

Tsubasa Chronicle: Tokyo Revelations

If you’ve been stalking me on AnimeOST, you’d know by now that I was doing research on the missing “season 3” of Tsubasa Chronicle, which turned out to be a 3-part OVA. I’ll just dump the info here + new smexy screenshots from the trailer which got just released!
Well, I’ll just make a small summary of the collected articles.
Suspected reasons who Season 3 Never came to be, was because the channel it was broadcasted on thought it was way too violent (Acid Tokyo, especially).
Anyhow, Tsubasa Chronicle will now be getting its own OVA, separated into 3 parts:
OVA 1 – The Magician’s Message
OVA 2 – The Boy’s Right Eye
OVA 3 – The Dream Saw by The Princess
This most likely means it’ll be just Acid Tokyo, judging from the titles. As there is no mention of Death Chess and Celes Country.

Two smexy new Requiem Comics are up to read! More might follow this week..
Aside from a crappy college roster, everything’s fine.
Wednesday is Talk Like a Pirate Day, and we’ll be joining in for kicks and “lulz”
This month is quite annoying in the anime world.
Zombie Loan ended, Lucky Star and Seto no Hanayome are coming to a close (The ones in the banner, fyi). Gurren Lagann.. Well, also ending. Don’t get me wrong, the anime and story is kick-ass. Episode 24 & 25 were just a stab and trying to create more GAR-characters, which failed. =|
A lot of anime are ending this month, actually. Have to check up the new batch, including Clannad (Followed by 2nd Season Haruhi when that’s finished) ^^

You must be getting sick of this by now..
But the Higurashi (1st season) Review will be up Tuesday-Wednesday! ^^ (FTP’s being weird today)
It’s just so awesome that Hanyuu’s VA is the same like Ayu’s from Kanon =D It’s just the cute sounds they make which activate my Ayu-radar・
So I’m glad that Yui Horie is in the Higurashi cast now. Can’t Au~ without her! =P

.. Again.
It has finally come! Though I’m a few days too late with posting >.>
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai, the 2nd Season of Higurashi is out and subbed! The first ep starts 30 years after the Hinamizawa disaster, which roughly took place the day after the last Episode of Higurashi. Kinda ironic, saying things like “our friendship will prevail!” and the next day everyone’s dead.

Really, Ryuk is the coolest Shinigami of ALL! Yes, go bite the dirt Ichigo and all you other Bleach folk! ;)
Seriously, after watching the new Death Note Opening (and the music rocks if I do say so myself), Ryuk’s cool factor raised [meme alert] over ninethousaaaaaanddd!!!![/end meme] XD
Death Note might be a mostly serious anime, but this opening kinda gives you a “what the hell did they smoke!?”-expression. And I love it.

Possibility of the Site going dead for a week or something due billing bugs.

I’m re-watching the very first anime I ever saw. Teknoman. I also found out I was 3 years old when it was made. Guess I’ll never get out of anime ;)
I loved Teknoman back as a kid. Great show. Guy transforming into a robot-guy and beating up alienated spider-things. Loved it!
And as it was in english, it seems I also started to learn english at that age!
