Just catching up with stuff from past seasons when I’m not busy. Rail Wars! lacked Wars.
Kinda like Guild Wars 2 lacking… well, guild wars right now. Though that should be fixed with Heart of Thorns, I think? Shirobako’s pretty entertaining.
And I can totally understand why Stargate Universe got canceled.
GW2 game client is getting worse.
First the Ancient Karka breaks it so I bluescreen 50% of the time when pressing play, now I get client errors too every time there’s a new patch. Terrible!
..I should get to this month’s Requiem comic before the month ends.

The Angel Beats! VN site updated a while ago with new CGs (while removing most oldies) and a PV.
Romancing girls confirmed, what with that Otonashi kissing Iwasawa CG.

Japan Anime (tor)’s Exhibition released a new video: “ME!ME!ME! feat.daoko” TeddyLoid.
It’s animated by Studio Khara, Anno’s studio after he left GAINAX to make the Rebuild of Evangelion movies.
Is GAINAX even around anymore? Think most moved to TRIGGER..
Well this one has a Panty & Stocking animator on it, so Khara has some too.

The official site for the Angel Beats! visual novel went up earlier, showing some cool stuff and raising questions.
The VN will have 6 volumes, I assume similar to 07th Expansion’s stuff, all being released for PC (Thank god).
They’re hoping on 2 releases per year, with the 1st beat being released in spring 2014.

Last season Gatchaman Crowds was my favorite of the season, this season it’s definitely Outbreak Company.
A fun anime where Japan found a portal to another world, which they wish to enrich with.. Otaku Culture*. *In this case, all things related to anime & manga. Not trains, idols or any other huge hobbies I believe.
I don’t like Leo’s appearance.. He reminds me of that Burgh..!!

It’s from 07th (Higurashi/Umineko), but not part of the When They Cry series.
As such, I haven’t noticed any brutal murders, brain parasites or small bombs in any food yet.
It takes place in a post-war Japan where China & America have taken over Japan and mobs/gangs are running around.
Source of money for the average Japanese Joe is either begging for work outside the job agency or joining the American or Chinese army. Fun.
Got Star Platinum 3rd this week.
Wasn’t much of a Jojo fan before to be honest. Took a look at a random chapter and figured it wasn’t my thing.
Forgot which part it was, maybe it was just a bad chapter. Been a while ago.
The anime got me back into it.
Having read Ever17 (Great VN) and Remember11 (..Eh? Nandatte?), I thought it was time to give Never7 a chance, the first of the Infinity series by KID.
When I started it up, it felt a bit dated. The interface I mean.
The sparkly mouse and rainbow background for the text also felt like something you’d see on those old Anime Character Shrine websites, y’know?
Anyway, I’m glad I managed to get past that – however…

Maybe it has to do with watching the two movies recently, but I’ve been in a Homura mood. That and finally finishing Umineko EP7 & 8 have been a great distraction from Danganronpa too.
Watching the anime didn’t work out – I just think it’s bad compared to the PSP game and it just looks like I’m watching the game with a lot of things cut out. Those character introductions in the first episode were just so.. Cheesy..!
I kinda stopped after that.
Might continue at a much later date. Kinda curious how they handled the class trials though.
